Culture Night 2026
The David Collection invites you to a magical and atmospheric evening during Culture Night, featuring two concerts by the evening’s musical headliner (TBA), Moroccan food, henna tattoos, and beautiful fashion designs inspired by works from the museum’s collection.
Between 6–10 PM, museum hosts will be stationed throughout the galleries to answer your questions.
Free admission with a Culture Night pass.
The David Collection x The Royal Danish Academy
Experience the museum’s unique collection from a new perspective as designs created by students from the Royal Danish Academy transform the permanent collection.
Throughout spring, students from the Master's programme in Fashion, Clothing and Textile have drawn inspiration from the collection’s textiles, patterns, artworks, and themes, translating their impressions into new designs.
Through these creations, they explore their own perspective and personal history, and how designers can approach other cultures with openness, respect, and curiosity. The result is a series of designs that bridge past and present, giving objects from another era new life and meaning through a contemporary lens.

Let yourself be captivated by the musical performance as the evening’s artist enchants us with atmospheric melodies and a beautiful voice, taking us on a musical journey.
The artist will be announced soon, and it is certainly something to look forward to! Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis and is available only with a Culture Night Pass.

Henna Tattoos with Nicole Kruckenberg
Henna has a long and fascinating history and is a tradition that has been used to decorate the body for thousands of years, from Ancient Egypt throughout the Islamic world.
During Culture Night, you can have your own temporary decorative tattoo painted in our henna salon, where skilled henna artists will be ready to create beautiful designs for guests of all ages.
Please note that full-body tattoos are not available. All materials used are natural, and the henna mixture contains coffee and lavender oil. Guests are responsible for any allergy-related concerns. Queues may occur.

Moroccan Specialties
In the museum courtyard, you can enjoy the flavours of Moroccan cuisine as Maroc Maroc serves authentic specialties, including hot mint tea, pastillas, samosas, salads, and hummus.
Food can be purchased and enjoyed in the courtyard. Payment is accepted via MobilePay.
